My mission in life is to know God and to make Him known! This simple statement embodies the purpose and practise of Harvest Ministries.

 

First, Knowing God is the priority of every believer's life. Jesus taught us that our highest goal in life is to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. Scripture calls us to be disciples of Jesus Christ, or His students. Every day presents us with new opportunites to enjoy a vital, personal relationship with our living Lord. To know, love and follow God must be the first priority of every believer.

 

Our second priority is to make God known. Jesus called us the church, to go to all the world with the most important message in all of human history: the Gospel. It is the message that God loves us, and has made a way for us to know Him through the death and ressurection of His Son, Jesus Christ.

 

It is my hope that the Impact Manual will encourage you to make your mission in life to know God and to make Him known. - Greg Laurie
